Engine miss solved!

Just an idea for some of you that are having problem with your engine missing. My truck started missing about 2 weeks ago. My new 5.4 engine only has 7000 miles on it and when I rebuilt it I installed new plugs, COP's, plug wires, injectors, fuel pump and filter.
I had my son start the truck, put it in drive and hold the brake while I unplugged one fuel injector at a time to see which piston was not firing.
It turned out to be number 1. So I check the plug, plug wire,COP, injector plug to make sure it was snapped in place and the injector. Everything check out ok. So after two weeks of scratching my head I uplugged the injector plug. One of the metal prong in the injector plug was bent to one side. So I got a small screwdriver and bent it back to the middle, plugged it back in and started the truck.
Suprise! The engine miss is gone.
Not saying this is whats going on with everone else's truck but it's something to look at.
