High Flow Muffler = Reduced Torque???

High Flow Muffler = Reduced Torque???

It is possible, if you reduce back pressure too much, but its doubtful its going to flow that much more because of the cats. What else have you done to it?

Nothing, except for a K&N, but that doesn't count! I don't plan on doing much more until the warranty runs out, that is if I can hold back that long!

Hmmmm.... try disconnecting the battery and turning the headlights on for about 10 minutes to reset the computer. That may help the ECU relearn the fuel curve base.

It's been several days now since I had the muff installed, and the truck seems to be running really good, maybe even better! If I did lose any torque, it was only a very little bit.
I thought about resetting the computer, but I didn't. BTW, that's a good idea to turn on the light switch to finish draining the remaining power! I never thought of that...
