i need help

new member here i have a 65 f100 that i swap a 302. i am having problem with my battery not kepping a charge. i checked the grounding. what can it be? any info will help

When you switched over to the 302 did you put in an internal regulated alternator or did you stick with the original stock externally regulated alternator? I know a lot more about Chevys than Fords but that might be a good place to start being the External Voltage Regulator. I personally would get a One Wire Alternator where the Voltage regulator is internal to the Alternator and be done with the problem.

Had that problem on another 66 ford truck after it was painted turned out to be the ground wire on the fuel tank sending unit was missing
