got a question

ok i got a question. ok i am trying to decide wether to keep my 292 yblock or go with something else im considering a 351 winsor maybe cleveland. my question is will i be able to get enogh power out of my 292 cause if i can thats what i want to go with. my 59 f100 is consideraly a light truck but i wasnt sure how fast id be able to get it with the y block. i want it to be pretty fast but i dont need it to smoke people at the track. and if i go with a 351 should i go with a clevland or winsor? what is the best winsor blocks?

Go with a windsor. any 351 windsor block will do. You can make some good power from the Y block but parts are not as easy to get.

Everything I have read about the Y-Block is that it has more low-end torch. You can pull it guts out. Not sure yet what the top-end is. I am running the 292 and a rebuilt C-4 in my 58, but it is not on the road yet. You didn't mention what trans you will be using.
