hey guys,
what tools do you guys used to get the bushings out of the sway bar (front)? I'm having some difficulties taking them out and I'm sure that it will be an adventure in trying to put the new bushings in. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Lemme chime in here ...SPent 3 hours with an air hammer and a torch, Do yourself a Major favor...go to your local machine shop and have them pressed out in 10 minutes....it ain't worth the effort if their rusted in, These were the first set of "anything" I couldn't get out in my garage w/ my air hammer and a substantial vice....they can be a real bear.
No problem just putting in new links they already come with new bushings. 1/2 hour... ooops sorry 1 hour because you have to pull the exhaust y-pipe down on a couple of models.......
I thought my old Rancho's where my problem, but the Bilsteins didn't fix it either. I changed my oil last week, and while I was under there, I was looking around, and grabbed the sway bar. Instantly "clunk" so I found the noise that has been bothering me all this time. Both sides too...grrr
