Cool WTF do I do now?

I hate the thirteenth. No good news ever comes from it. For my injectors, there is a guy here that has 15 full sets of cores going for 300 a piece. Well I called Swamp's and they said they would take two sets of cores and give me a new set of baby swamps. So I bought one of this guys and sent it up there, when I recieved the ones from swamps I would send them mine I am currently runnin. Pretty sweet, I just got new injectors for 300 bucks. Well so I thought.

David called me today and said "we got those injectors and tore into them, ALL the plungers and barrels are shot, we cant use them. Either send us yours and 500 dollars or we will just send you these back."

I called the guy I bought them from, he said he will trade them out for AD codes, I got his only AA's the first time. But David said he doesnt want anymore of this guys injectors.

What do I do? I already had a modified program added to my PCM for the new injectors I was planning on getting. Spent 120 on that and I cant use it for my stock sticks. So now I'm ut 420 bucks and its a shot in the dark that the AD's will be any good.

If they are good, I can take them apart myself and see, what do I have to do to run AD's in my truck?

I don't know enough to comment, but be patient. A lot of folks here with tons of injector experiences to help you out.

INJECTORS:

AD are "Split Shot" injectors and used in 1999-2003 engines:

They flow 135/140 CC's

This is all I know about them.

you might be able to contact Jim at Rosewood diesel. In the DIY Stage 3 kit it comes with new plungers and barrels. The stage 2 kit doesn't include them, but you could ask him if he could include a set if you got the DIY stage 2 kit.

Jim, or no one in that matter can get P and B's right now. I think it is a way of eliminating the 7.3. But that is a subject for a different day. But I am trying to utilize the set I have now that I dropped the 300 on. Of course I cannot use the AA's but I am curious about the AD's he will trade me for. I know TJ runs them on his truck. I can open them up and if the plunger and barrel are good then I want to run those.

Well I spoke to Bill at PHP. My PCM had already shipped with the tunes for stage 1's. Guess I'm going to eat the 300 I paid for the injector cores and chalk it up to learnin a very good lesson. Going to buy a DIY kit from Jim and build my own stage 1's. I guess it could have been worse. Thanks for the input guys.
