Fuel tank question
Hi, I am working with a 52 f1 and want to install a fuel tank between the frame rails in the rear, I am not sure which tanks will fit. I found the more expensive aluminum tanks but would prefer a steel tank just to save money that I can use elsewhere on the truck. Thanks

thank you. just cant see spending the money on an aluminum tank. money is money, will need all that i can get. everytime i turn around it needs something else and it usually is a $400 item.

IMO the hard part is getting the sending unit calibrated to the fuel gauge, this chart is from someone on here;
