So, FTE has always helped me very much, so I now have a new venture. I need to replace my front driver side wheel bearing. I know this because my wheel will wiggle in all directions. When I make a turn to the right, strangly I hear a grinding noise. Regardless, when I did a test, the front drivers side was bad.
Ok, so, what exactly do I need to replace? The wheel hub? Just the bearings?
Also, I haven't done this before, is this simple? Are there any tips? Is it cheap?
shouldnt be too hard. the sealed bearing comes as a unit. pull the caliper and rotor, then look on the back by the dust shield, there should be 3 bolts. remove these(probly going to be a bit*h to get out) and the whole bearing assembly should come off with some persuasion.
