We went south from Lodestone through the Whipsaw , if your van can do the same as the first 30 seconds of that video the Whipsaw would be no problem AFTER THE SNOW GOES! When BC4X4 did it last year on Canada Day the Unimogs had to break trail though the snowy spots.

Thanks for all the tips everyone, (Zip). I've decided to drive up through Whistler to Pemberton, on to Cache Creek, then Kamloops, Vernon and Kelowna.
I've driven the Hope/Princeton so many times to Kelowna, and the Coquihalla too many times to count. It's time to take a different route.

PS. Vancouver traffic is worse than Los Angeles! Ban cell phones and build some roads already! Has anyone ever heard of a left turn lane!

You can take a gravel road, its in decent condition from 70 mile on HWY 97, that goes thru the deadman creek area, and comes out in Kamloops, right up into batchelor heights in the grasslands....thats a cool route if you want variety.
