Superchips Cortex 1950

Anyone use one of these programmers? I like the fact that it can be used on other vehicles... I know I will not have this truck forever...but I will have a Ford.

I am not sure if mine is the cortex 1950 or not, but I do have a superchips programmer. I like it pretty well, but now I can wish I had custom tunes. Like you said though it's nice to know if I ever get rid of my truck I can use it on another one.

why not pick up an SCT programmer then?

you can use it on the entire Ford family of vehicles...and custom tunes are way better than the canned one.

It might cost ya $50-100 more overall, but the SCT tuners are more versatile

Not a bad price. Don't know much about that particular tuner, but I do know Super Chips to be a reputable company. I prefer SCT and custom tunes. I started out with a Super Chips tuner on my 6.0L diesel and switch to SCT about a year later. I liked the tranny shifting better on the SCT.

Got the Cortex... wow what a difference between stock and a tuned truck... went with the performance mode out of the box and what a difference... I'm sure there are better... prettier and more custom tuners out there but I like the way the truck acts now. Would definitely recommend this product.
