Joe, the panzer cannot be turned into a rock crawler, even if you cut the bed its gonna be too long. If you had a single cab, it might be plausable, but next its already way to heavy, have you noticed that most crawler buggies are running small 4 bangers and the big guns run 350's with alluminum heads and such?
i dont know dean, a fella down here in woodville several years ago went out and bought a brandnew 05 ps 4 door , cut the bed, shortened the frame and made a crawler out if it. turned out to be a VERY impressive machine. i just couldn't see takeing a 60K$ truck and hacking it up like he did, but it did work and work well.
Some people like diesel for Rock Crawlers, I sold my 89 F350 to a guy who was going to put the diesel in his 86 Bronco. He could cut the frame and put the rear axle right behind the cab, that would be a cool rig for rock crawling.
