No Drive!!!
got a 48 ford truck and the C4 tranny won't move in drive, it has 2nd and low. reverse works too. You move it to drive and won't go anywhere. it worked fine the other night. now i have nothing. it sounds to me like it's something small

Low fluid would be my guess. The converter may not have been completely full earlier, now it could be and the pan level would be low. Is this a new build or did it work fine for many miles and this is a new thing?
