Im in the process if rebuilding a 400M and the flow characteristics are 1500-4500 RPM. Will the stock torque converter work with this?
Its a c6 tranny 1981 year. Motor will produce around 300 HP.
Thanks.
If a swap will be needed, do you have any recomendations?
I would think because the normal operating rpm range of a stock tranny would be from 0-3800 RPM that if it is planned to run a higher RPM, would need some bullet-proofing built in to it.
