Looks great...did you have to take off the hitch during the swap-out?

just lineing everything up. our X's have a plastic trim piece where the end of the bumper meets the rear quarters, this trim piece hides the gap so nobody can see inside, just for appearnce, im guessing the pickups dont have these, but i wanted to keep mine, so at the very corner of the top pad of the 08 bumper i had to trim a small corner piece off just so the bumper could be pushed back enough to line up with the brackets. i did this alone, it would have been much easier if i had a buddy moveing the bumper around and pushing it in as i was putting the bolts through, so try and have a buddy there if you plan on doing this. but all in all it wasnt bad at all.

no, the hitch stayed on, basically i just unbolted the old one and put up the new one. the old one you have to unbolt the brackets from the truck, but when you put the new one on, put the brackets on the truck first, (dont tighten yet) then put the bumper up, bolt that in then line up and tighten all the bolts... not hard at all, but a little bit of a pain to do yourself...

i paid 175 for it off craigslist, kinda cheep thats why i jumped at the opportunity, and probly 3 hours combined, the hardest part was getting the old brackets off the old bumper, they were really rusted on i ended up cutting them off with a sawzall, but the bolts were so strong it took 3 blades to get them off!! the body moldings are off temporary, i am waiting till i have the extra cash to have them painted black, right now my big thing is trying to get that stupid painted on pinstripe off, as soon as i get that off im gonna get moving on haveing the moldings painted. i am making an 05 blacked out limited clone!! cant wait till its done!!
