I have a complete set of trim for a '73-'79 F-Series. It includes all upper and lower "racetrack" pieces and the 3 piece tailgate trim. It is one of the best original sets that I have seen so far, but I am unsure what to price it at. Very very few dents. I don't want to post it until I get some feedback on what it might be worth. I understand that the individuals that are giving advice on the suggested price are probably the individuals that would be interested, but any information is appreciated. Thanks.
I don't know but when you find out what you want for it let me know. I am looking for a good complete set for my reg. cab long bed. Is this what they are for?
Yes, the entire set came off of a '77 Regular Cab Ranger XLT. It will fit. I am still doing some research on the price and shipping options. I will let you know before I post the set on this site.
DC ,LCM and the rest get a arm and a leg for it. I love the dent side trim (the black rubber trim in the dent) I have been picking it up at the pull and save here and pay about 2 to 3 bucks each. They call the cab corner a small molding 1.99 and the fender, door, or bed, a Large molding 2.99. I have collected about 3 full trucks of it but no I don't want to sell it. I have gotten the bed sides with and without the race track corners. My truck has the racetrack trim also but I really don't like it and when I paint it, it will probably not go back on. What I am collecting now is the lower molding that the 73-76 had down on the lower part of the body. Just one of my things I like to collect. I have seen people pay 199.00 for just the door trim in the dent but I guess it is just how much a guy is willing to pay.
Well I have it listed on eBay already and it is about to go on here. Thanks for the information. If you are interested, be sure to check the Swap Meet in about 30 minutes. Thanks again.
