My problem is with my shocks, or I believe it is. I started to notice that everytime I put something like my 4 wheeler in the bed of my truck it tends squat a little. Or if I stand in the bed of my truck the shocks seemed to compress pretty easly. my psd is only a 2wd f-250. Just wondering if you think i need new shocks. No springs are broke. Also putting on new shocks would that raise the rear end up a little.
If your truck is squatting under a load, the shocks won't fix that.
All the new shocks will do is keep it from bouncing up and down excessively after hitting some dips in the road.
They don't actually carry any weight, but rather are motion dampers.

Well said, but if you're running factory shocks, YOU NEED TO REPLACE THEM.
They won't raise the truck up, or keep it from squatting though. You'll either need to add a set of overload springs, replace the springs, get them re-arched, put in a set of airbags or timbrens to address the squatting.
You'll be amazed how much better the truck rides with new shocks, so start there. That will put you in a better mood while you decide on what to do about the springs.
