When you remove the PCM there are some contacts that are coated in silicone. You have to remove the silicone with your fingernail then clean it with a scotchbrite pad. They give you one with the DP. If you remove to much of the tin on the contacts and expose too much copper you run the risk of loose connection to the chip.

When your getting that silicone off the contacts and then using that scotch brite pad, I went back a couple times with my fingernail to make sure it was ALL off.. Your gonna love it, I garr--enty.
