dash board noise

dash board noise
I have a cricket noise coming from the passenger side from within the dash as it sounds, also a loose metal bracket sound to making a slower wabbling sound. Both are different sources because the sounds have been made consecutively at times. Anyone else with relative anoying noises?

my '97 sounds like it has a dry speedometer cable! the only problem is it doesn't have a speedometer cable. I have never found that one,
I also have an idler on my serpentine belt that sounds like a bull elk bugling, I am leaving that one until elk season

My whole freakin truck is a squeak. I don't even know where to start. The dash is annoying in several places and I think the rivets on the front crossmemeber are squeaking- heck frame articulation sounds like a machine gun

2002 Windstar neigbor asked me to "diagnose" over phone&post here?She says the 02 Windstar noise is coming from under dash area? She turns radio up to "drown"out noise! Anyone heard of this occurence? I noticed another post said there is NO speedo-cable?Haven't looked at vehicle yet,any ideas?Tanksalot
