Then what is a true muscle car? The 2008 GT500KR will out perform the 1968 GT500KR in all aspects of the game. What more do you want?

Do you have to work hard to **** off people, or does it come naturally?

I will have to dissagree with you. Do you know what a muscle car is? Entertain me and tell me why the 2010 Mustang is not.

You don't know, but repeatedly mention that it will be or is rumored to be. Where do you get the rumors? Blogs? Post one. Thin air? (what's the difference?) Somewhere else?

This article with a November '08 date clearly states OHC and shows pics that look OHC:

2010 Ford F150 SVT Raptor First Look and Official Details - New Directions For Ford's SVT Pickup - Auto News - Motor Trend

Looks the same as the engine pic from the Mustang with the "Coyote" engine. If the Coyote is a smaller displacement version of the 6.2, which would make sense, it is OHC.

Or, maybe it's pushrods, point ignition, standard plugs, solid lifters, cartridge oil filter and mates up to a non-synchro 3 speed on 8.15 x 14 balloon whitewall cotton cord tires......

It has nice seats, carpet, a stereo, turns corners and stops. It can't be a muscle car.

See the 2010 SHO for a larger performance car.

No one can make money selling stripper cars, let alone stripper cars with big motors as many (not all, SS396 pretty nice inside...) muscle cars were.

If the mustang doesn't have enough muscle for you, how about the new ford GT-40, it's pure muscle. The latest version on top gear had around 800 hp. The shelby's are pushing the 600 hp mark. Never has factory cars had so much muscle. The one piture that I've seen of the 6.2 looks like it had valve covers instead of cam covers. I don't know if it has push rods or not, i've only read a short article and it didn't say in the article, It's not worth getting excited about either way, it's the performance whats important.

I like the styling, and it's pretty cool Ford is promoting doing burnouts on the front page of their website.. shouldn't be any problem getting tires replaced under warranty now

All the new Ford gas v-8s are either OHC or DOHC. No pushrods=les valve float.

Cam covers on SOHC motors look very similar to valve covers on pushrod motors.

Some of the trouble with this is that the lower end American cars are still built not as well as some of the imports. For instance, a Corolla is built like a small Camry. A Focus is not built like a small Fusion.

The current generation of Corollas are terrible. They have gotten terrible reviews and haven't sold all that well. I kinda like the way they look, but fit and finish is awful and they do not drive that well. The current Focus is solid but dated; the 2012 MY Focus is going to be an awesome car. Fords in Europe are seen as nice cars and hopefully Ford becomes that in the US once they start using global platforms.

You must have peanut butter for brains if you think the 2011 Mustang 5.0 is not a Muscle car. Have you ever watched one go down the 1/4? What classic Muscle car ever turned 12.70's out of the showroom (100% stock)?

He had something that resembled peanut butter for brains, but smelled much worse, thats why he was banned from the site long ago.
