Drive Belt
I guess I have to, after many years, reconcile myself to the fact that these new vehicles no longer have FAN belts but serpantine DRIVE belts.
Since I'm doing spring maintenance on my vehicles, decided that a new serp belt might be a good idea on my V10 - and for sure was. There were at least 6 full cracks and many, many more just starting. This is a truck with only 52K miles and 3+ years old. So - with that said, if you still have the OEM belt, the truck has 50K or more, then it might just be the time ( oh, and of course you WILL need the profanity ear plugs for the wife and kids as you will exercise your vocabulary).
(Now - I have to consider putting in my set of Autolite HT2 spark plugs
or maybe farm that job out if I'm nervous about breakage)
