Automatic Shifter Problem
I manage a site with a 2001 Ranger (Automatic) that is having problems with the shifter. Employees are noticing that the shifter will not go up all the way to "Park". Transmission was just rebuilt last year, and we're thinking it's the shifter assembly on the steering column. Is this a major undertaking to replace or is there something else that we should be looking at before we strip the cab??

cool...The truck is just a little yard hustler, doesn't leave the property except to get gas, I don't know hardly anything about it, as my profile shows I drive a completely different animal. Top speed in the yard is 20 mph, and since it's an employee operated truck, you can imagine that they're more than likely shifting from Reverse to Drive without coming to a complete stop...among other things. Any help would be appreciated in advanced.
