help on ford brakes

I have a 69 Ford F100 Good Humor Truck. I was told everything suspension is F250.

From LMC truck I bought 2wd Wheel cyl and brake master. I have a brake booster. All drums.

I can not get the lines bled. Do I have this set up correct?
A) the master came with a new push rod. Do I need to install this?
B) is the front most master port for the rear or the front?
C) one line has a big 1/2 inch or so 3/16 line fitting, the other has a smaller one with an 1/2 inch adapter. Which port gets the adapter and which gets the direct line. Does anyone make new fittings this size?
D) on the dist block, on the front side, is the top most port to the front or rear

did you manually bled the new brake master cylinder before you put it on. if not you are just pumping air in to the system.
A)if your push rod looks good then no. but if its no haste to put the new one in. why not us new parts (you did pay for them).
B) the larger of the reservoirs is for the front. the smaller of the two is for the rear.

Master

This may seem dumb, but how do you manually bleed a master cyl?

I always just put them in and put in fluid, either way I always thought fluid would just pump through.

iv always put it in a vice and then used a punch or the push rod and simulate braking until it is fully primed. you don't need to fill it all the way up just put in enough to go over the distribution holes.
just a thought have you pulled off the brake lines from the master to see if it is the prob. or if it is in the proportional valve?

If you have an F100, the wheels are 5 lug with a 5.50" bolt circle.

The front drum brakes are 11 x 3, the rears are 11 x 2 1/4.
---------------------------------------------------------
F250's have 8 lug wheels on a 6.50" bolt circle.

F250's have TWO different sized drum brakes, it depends on the GVW.

Some are 12 1/8 x 2 front/rear / Some are 12 x 2 1/2 front/rear.

All 1967 Ford vehicles with drum or disc brakes have a brake proportioning valve.

It can be mounted either adjacent to the steering gear box, or inboard of the left front wheel mounted on the frame rail.

Done

I ended up making a spacer to take up the slack of the plunger, it seems like a piece must have been in the old master which I threw away. The brakes are perfect.
