ISSPRO Guage question
I have a 3 isspro guage pillar. EGT,pyro,trans temp. I have had a issue with the trans temp getting bouncy once in a while. Diesel manor sent me a new one under warrenty said the box was bad. Then it seemed to fix itself for about a year. So it just started up again last week getting bouncy but now for the last 5 days its good again. I wonder if its just a loose wire on the orange sending unit box.. So my next question is I have noticed the EGT guage takes like 30 second to register the temp when I first start it up. Does this seem normal? I really may have never noticed it before but the guage works fine and so does the pyro. I was thinking that the probe in the pipe needs to get hot first then it registers the temp to the EGT guage or something like that. It only happens when I start it up cold in the am. The trans temp guage if the funny one but it seems to like to fix itself so I just leave it until it stops all together, I will double check to connections to the terminals unless you guys know of another place to look.. thanks Jeff

Sounds like a loose connection. Pull the plug at the tranny sender and fill it with dielectric grease. Then make sure all your connections at the box and where ever you tapped for power are good and tight.

i replaced the connector at the tranny temp sensor, the one that came with mine was an open style white connector, by open i mean the connector does not seal to the wire allowing moisture, dirt, debree in. i used a weather pack connector. hope this helps you.
