As the thread says, I'm looking to possibly replace the roof skin in an effort to fix the hiding rust monster in my drip rail/roof edge area.
The body shop suggested the replacement and I've begun my search.
I figure someone in our happy, tho demented, little family may have a lead or some thoughts for me.
Have - 1978 F150 Supercab - Need - roof skin that will match/replace the current one.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Either post leads to good parts yards here for others to steal, I mean make note of, or mail me privately if you want.

have you thought of finding a cab and clipping it, cutting the cab mid point of the windshield and at the lower seam in the rear? to some it sounds like a lot of work but after doing it I haven't replaced a full cab. I also have a line on a late '80's f350 the cab might be the same. I will look through my pics for it.

if they might be the same here is the truck the cab looks good at least teh top and back.
