hubs not unlocking

Have a F250 hubs in auto position and switch seams to be operating OK but the hubs do not seem to be unlocking all the way could this be a vacuum leak or a solenoid problem?

Did you back up at all? Sometimes you have to back up to get them to release.

hubs not unlocking

I did back up and no luck, checked fuses, and tried putting it in and out again no luck. jacked the truck and turned the front drive shaft still wants to turn the wheels.

Sounds like you need to clean and regrease your hubs.

Either the hubs themselves aren't unlocking, or the "inner spindle bearings" are dry (inside the wheel bearing, where the axle stub goes through)
