Truck acts weird

On my 2001 F-250...the wipers sometimes come on and work fine ...other times they won't come on at all..and then sometimes if you play with the switch that will get them on... but not in high speed..and also another thing..sometimes the right rear door will lock and unlock with no problems ,either by using the key fob or the button on the door. Other times you have to manually lock it ...any ideas?

Check your GEM for signs of moisture. On the diesels its attached to the back of the fuse box, if you have a gasser I can't say for sure where it will be hiding.

What he^^ said.

Check for moisture on the GEM and the backside of the fuse box, (where the GEM is). If it is wet...dry it really good, then take your truck to a windshield shop and have them remove and reseal your windshield. Hopefully the GEM is OK and there is nothing fried on the fuse box. This is a known issue for leaking windshield.

Take apart the wiper switch and clean the little contacts with electrical cleaner. Mine was all gunked up when I encountered this problem.
