alternatorparts.com trouble?
I see a lot of people on this forum have done it and i took the recommendations of others and ordered an alternator.
They charged my credit card a month ago and have yet to ship product. I have called, sent email, left voicemail, faxed a copy of my order in to them. I have been unable to get a live person or have someone return my call.
I don't want to sick the BBB, Sheriff, or file a fraud complaint with his ISP, but I will if I continue to not hear anything.
I'm curious if anyone else has has similar problems.
... sure doesn't help the fact that my alternator is getting worse and i'd hate to pay for 2 of them if they end up shipping it at some point.
Ask that they reverse the charge ASAP as no products have shipped and send them a quick re-cap of the dates and emails you have tried sending.
As soon as you get your money back, go buy a new alternator from someone else.
BBB, ISP and the Sheriff (as you wrote above) are going to take way to long and your still out the money... and I am not sure if the Sheriff would even help or has the authority to help. The ISP is only concerned that they get their monthly payment and will tell you that it is not their problem about this company's poor customer service.
Just get your CC company to reverse the charge and move on!!!
Good luck,

I've never really had a bad experience online and have heard good things about alternatorparts.com.
In the end, it took me several attempts, but Randy Dubois from Alternatorparts.com did finally indicated it was a paperwork problem on his end. Does not explain the communication.
He shipped out the alternator next day and it showed up today AM delivery. so he made it right from his end. So for now, things are okay.
Just wanted everyone else looking for an alternator and taking the good feedback on this forum to know that the products on his website are top-notch, but service is so-so. I think he is working out of his house and may just be doing this as a side-gig for him.
thanks for the advice.
