I have a 1979 f150 4x4 the rear axle is a 9 inch, and it leaks my rear end fluid by the drivers side tire really bad. I think it is the seal in the axle tube that is leaking, but in the haynes manual it looks like there is a gasket that is between the axle tube and where the brakes would hook up at. I went to Advanced auto parts and we tried looking up the part he came back with a bearing that had a seal around it is this the right part that i would need. and can anybody that has taken their rear end apart give me some tips
