power loss

My 460 loses power periodically. When I stop for 10 minutes it works fine again. This has happened twice both times when the airconditioning stoped working. I have had the fuel pump and filters replaced but this does not seem to fix the problem permanently. Also the engine temp reads ok.

What is going on?????

Bad coil, getting hot and making weak spark. Any ignition box or sensor can do this also.

How do you tell which is the problem?

Change the coil, not fixed. Change the sensor, not fixed. Change the ignition box. Otherwise change and test.

God this has been awhile but I ran into my own post. the problem was a bad fuel tank. The corrosion from ethanol fuel, wreaked havoc. Had the gas tank changed and that fixed the problem.
