Innovative, stealth., & cale are all dealers for the x3 sct tuner spartan I don't think sells them anymore. Stacking chips is what the dodge boys do to compensate for crappy truck packaging and is not needed with a good custon tune on a sct. Any of the above can set you up with a tuner and tunes for towing economy and performance. The sct produces the best performance, trans tuning and flat out does the current competition. Also invest in gauges you will need them egt, pyro at minimum..
right around the 175-190hp mark i have heard that one of the looney toons might be higher than 200hp. there are probably higher hp programs depending on turbos injectors etc. but the wall for these truck is something like 450hp that is where you will have to get bigger injectors. with the bigger injectors you will need more fuel (airdog/fass) regulated return and a turbo to keep the egts down from the sticks. but as stated before the majority of tuners are going to be obsolite at that point
I only have exspirance with spartan and i LOVE them, I want to try cale's next. Ive heard that Cale's its comparable to innovative, but i dont know for sure.
Stock trucks have head gasket problems so anytime you add power it is going raise the chance of haveing problems. It just depends on your truck, some people run hot tunes with no problems and some run them for 10mins and blow a gasket. It is said that if you drive your truck nice and dont hot rod around you will be fine. It is also recomended not to go above a 140hp tune with a stock motor(some say 100 as well)
Most people with truck that have injectors, turbos, fuel systems.... Have either done studs and a egr delete to prevent headgasket problems or do it during the mods to keep from having problems.
