part ID

OK, I'm a ford newbie.. top of the dash on the 1986 BII I just got there's a computer. Has a white square button on it, next to that a red light.

Part number is E76B-7E453AA

What is it? The plug to the rear of the vehicle was disconnected. I still drove the thing a mile to my house. Red light was on with key on, engine not running after connecting the connector.

so do all the wires from the push button on the ceiling go to that control module first? then the other plug goes to the t-case?

I guess I can take my ohm meter and make sure, then I'd have wires pre-ran for putting different switches for lights and what not in place at least from the roof to the center of the dash..
