Steering Issue
Hi to all, I am new here. I have just started to hear a rubbing sound when making turn or just sitting and turning L and R (only to recreate the noise). I am ver confident it is not the PS pump. It seems to coming from the R side near wheel. Could a worn stabilizer make such a sound? My hopeful quick fix of giving her (the truck that is) a few shots of grease has failed. 52K miles, other than that, still running fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, SP

I doubt a stabilizer will make much noise, think of it like a shock. It might squeak a little but no rubbing noises I can think of. Time to get under it and wiggle things. Sitting still and moving the wheel, I can't think of anything that would make a sustained rub or moan beside the P/S pump other than the tires scrubbing on a hard surface.
