I rounded up all the parts I need to do my ball joints today, and am preparing to tackle the job tomorrow. Does anyone have any pointers or handy dandy little tricks to make the job go smoother? I have done ball joints before but's it's probably been 20 years ago...so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.....Kevin
Don't forget to put the brake dust shield back on! I found mine right as I was getting ready to bolt the tire back on
Other than that, I say don't rush it, take your time and make sure it gets done right. You will want a press for the big knuckle seal and the lower ball joint.
Yah I really only plan on doing one side tomorrow and if all goes good doing the other one on wednesday.
I rented a joint press from napa....and found where someone had made a seal installer for the knuckle seal....so I made that today as well.........I hope it works
