Hey guys,

Thanks for all the help. I jumped on the set of Bushwacker Street Flares on ebay. I have decided that I am going to paint them a charcoal color with a nice metallic flake in it. I figured from a distance they wont be noticable as with a brighter silver, and uo close it will look sweet. I am going to peel of the Fx4 sticker when they are installed so it should break up the black just enough.

Sounds really sweet. I'm looking at the same type of flares for my truck, but for a completely different reason. I've got some serious rust to grind out above the rear wheelwells. I'm gonna fill with liquid steel and prime, but I'm an awful painter, so I'll stick the street flares overtop. Haven't decided to paint or not.

I got the flares on Friday and I choose a dark charcoal metallic paint, I painted them and will install them and post pics sometime this week. I am also going to peel off the Fx4 sticker and clean up the emblems...maybe.

Oh I decided on the street flares.

Sorry i'm late getting to this post. I purchased bushwacker and they are OK but not nearly as nice as the new ATS flares. I sent back the bushwackers cause i was not happy with the price vs. quality of the product. Don't get me wrong as they are not bad but the factory painted ATS flares look like OEM. The overall quality and paint match was amazing. If it turns out your not happy with your purchase then i can send you some pictures.

There not going to take mine back, they are painted. I am happy with the Bush Wackers, I got them on ebay and they were a steal. I really wanted the OEM ones but the fronts are discontinued so I couldnt go that route. These will do the job for me, I am just running 285' son stock wheels so te extra 3/4" will do what I need it too.

Now the mud guards will be a different story.

Please post pics! I have yet to see any "real world" pics of the ATS fender flares installed on a Super Duty...

I have the OEM set from ford so I am hoping that I can do something to make these work, I dont want to put a "flat" mud guard on there, I like the molded guard look.

Sawtooth do you already have the ATS flares installed, if so I would love to see pics also.

I was in the same boat. I wanted to see them first but could not find them anywhere. I ended up calling ATS and the person i spoke with "Gil" said he would go to a dealership and clip them to a truck for me to see. Man, i couldn't believe the service these guys provide. Anyway, i looked them over and immediatly placed my order. The material of the flare feels of a much higher quality than the Bushwacker. And thier in house paint facility is awesome. They do alot of the OEM stuff for Toyota, Ford etc. Anyway when they came in i was amazed at how well the paint matched and the overall quality of the flare. I got the street flare but even the off road ones look great. I need to clean the truck tomorrow and will post some pictures.

Yes,

They are the FOMCO mud guards. They wont fit with the Bushwaker flares. I will figure something out. Also got a package from the FTE parts guy so its like Christmas for my truck this week.

Yeah late shipment,

Should have the flares on tomarrrow, got them cleared up today, I decided to go with a different shade of grey, they are more charcoal, actually the same color of the outline on the Fx4 sticker.
