Bubbling Noise

My truck has been making a bubbling noise on startup. It does this when I get on the gas, and for the first mile or so and then it goes away. So far it has lost about 2 quarts of coolant somewhere. I haven't found any coolant on the ground, in the engine compartment, near the overflow lid, or in the oil...Any ideas?

sounds like your heater core is losing water, then when you start it up it re-fills itself, or it could be plugged?.as for the water loss, are you getting any white smoke?. that sounds like an egr cooler to me.

The noise is definitely on the driver's side, sounds like its right under the dash...no white smoke, unless it is really cold and then just when it starts up.

Its the EGR Cooler leaking, should be done tomorrow. Already blew headgaskets, so whats gonna be next?

One shouldn't ask questions that one doesn't want the answer to!! Inevitably, if you have Murphy anywhere near you, he'll rear his ugly head and show you just exactly "what" is gonna be next!!
