Supercab windows go down?

I saw a picture online the other day of a 76 or 77 supercab that the back cab window was down. (it was halfway down, so I know it wasn't broken out) Was that an option? I'm just curious since mine don't crank down. Thanks guys!

I wish I could, I can't find it anymore! I shoulda saved it when I saw it. Darn it darn it!

It was an old picture, looked like a family on a fishing vacation, there was a lady flicking her cigarette out the half down window.

I'll keep looking...

eBay Motors: 1976 76 FORD PICKUP Truck BROCHURE F350 F100 F150 F250 (item 350185242930 end time Apr-06-09 21:31:33 PDT)

This is not the same picture I saw as before, but this might be good enough. See the last truck (light blue, camper special) in the auction? See the girl hanging out the back window?

the truck in the bottom photo is called a crew cab.

the one above where it appears that the window may be half down is also a crew cab.

the yellow/white one on the bottom left is a supercab and the girl is leaning against the window.......not out of it.

Whoops, I didn't realize that was a crew cab.

I swear the truck i saw in the other picture was a supercab, there wasn't a door handle. It looked just like my 76....maybe I'm nuts....

I'm not a Ford parts guy, but the only two window styles that I've have seen for the super cab rear side window are it being fixed in place or a flip out style. I currently have the fixed style on my truck, but there's a set of flip outs in my parts stash that might get installed sometime this summer.

Yes, rolling rear windows were available. Whether it was a factory option or a dealer modification, I don't know.

If you have some proof of that for a Supercab post it up. All the books I have show the only option is a flip out window.

I cannot seem to get the search feature to cooperate with me. I could have sworn there was a thread on this about a year ago, and it seemed like ND mentioned something about it. However, it's not my place to speak for other people. Any ideas anyone?
