tranny stickin
my 5 speed manual tranny wont stay in gear when u shift into 4th or 2nd. in not runnin over over 3 grand when i try to down shift. it goes in but when u let out on the clutch it pops out and grinds the gears. it sounds bad and i dont know how to fix it. any solutions????

I had the same or at least similar problem with my 93...the shift forks were shot, and so were some of the shift cones. also what helped after replacing the forks was to drain the fluid and replace it with 5-30w synthetic motor oil and a can of trans x, the trans x keeps the seals happy, the sythetic does not thicken up when its cold. If you use a standard oil the tranny may not go into gear when its cold.
