man that set up looks sweet. cant wait till you get some numbers for all us mortals to drool over. i hope that your leg gets better at least good enough to run the go petal in your truck.
Oh, its nothing too be worried about, it doesnt hurt most of the time unless i bump into something. I was in and out of my bed a few times today, washed the truck, i can drive and probably ride my fourwheeler if i so desired, but im taking it easy. It's not like im in pain or anything.
My setup is still a little off. I can't load the engine down enough with my gearing 4.56, thats why im returning to stock here shortly, and also ditch the locker for a true-trac. Dave at swamps says 58psi is low for my setup, and i know i am loosing some boost, i need to double clamp my connections... He said the time it takes for my truck to go 0-90, it can do 0-120 (with alot more SOTP acceleration) bc i now have the horsepower to accelerate the truck. And i agree, it doesn't accelerate how i imagined. If i were to hit the dyno i would probably only make 550 or so, and i told dave i wanted 700
Well, nothing i really "did".. Some of you might remember back in september 08 over my birthday i was in the hospital, had surgery on my knee to take out the worst variety of staph infection, MRSA. Well that stuff stays with me for life now, and i had an outbreak on my hip, decided to go in before it got too out of control, and i didnt need surgery this time. They just cut me open cut and squeezed out the bad stuff and sent me on my way
I know how you feel sort of. I have had mrsa 3 times since last summer.
Nice truck Kris. I like power too, but I also like to drive my truck and enjoy riding in it. How are you going to get the 700HP out of it, if you think you are at 550HP now?
I should have the motor and injectors for it, i have enough fuel for 900+ if i can burn it completely, and i know i can get it out in time.. But i am limited on the airflow..
I say 550hp now because the gearing and tire combo i have is too low, and the truck has more than enough power to turn the gears over, and it doesnt load the engine down as much as it can, so it may only produce that much. Once i put 3.73's and give the engine less leverage on the wheels, it will get more load, and hopefully the dyno numbers increase
