What is this plug for?

I've got an unused plug coming down by the oil filter housing.

Anyone know what this goes to?

There is a sensor on the housing already that is plugged up.

It looks like you have some leaks around there. Does your oil pressure gage work?

Gauge and oil pressure are fine. No MIL's or codes.

I think a lot of that gunk is from the dealer oil changes and not bothering to even wipe the drip tray.

It's not losing any more oil than normal for the modular engine.
