Stutter Start? My wife is worrying.......
When I start my beast in the morning it'll stutter a little then kick right over.
If you watch the tac it'll stutter for 2-3 seconds then jump right up to idle. It doesn't do it every time but almost every time it gets its first start in the morning. I live in the high desert, its not really that cold but its pretty chilly, but it does it when its warm too. I don't think its cuase of temp.
Its at 103,000 and I tuned it up and replaced the coil packs (well ford did it) at 98,000. Its a 2001 limited with a 5.4, 2wd.
I know its never gonna die and it'll probably do this for the next 100,000 miles and be fine but my old lady is worrying, help me figure this out so she won't worry no more.
