New Mods

OK, I have ordered the o-rings from Guzzle to do the CCV mod and and have the other parts in hand. I would like to do the CCK while I'm at it but to order one from the states is expensive. By the time it got to me it would be about $250 after brokers fees and taxes. So I have decided that if I have to spend that kind of money anyway (rationalizing here) I may as well have it made locally and use braided stainless. Bling factor 9+.
I would like to know if anyone can give me the specs for the kit. I would appreciate any help.
Thanks

This may be a dumb question but here goes anyway. Could you send the money to someone in the states, person not a business, they buy it and send it to you? Would that save you $$ in the long run?

i like his thinking..if it doesnt work this link will give you all the info you need..it is a full RR kit..just look up the 2 hoses you need and get them made up..i run this kit and love it..the hose will not chafe, burn or kink..very nice set up....

braided lines do look good but they can and will chafe wires and hoses if they touch them...

That is a nice setup Ron. I'm thinking of using this one Dino Fuel Alternatives | Product Detail

I have been talking with Roland about it. He has a simular one on his truck. What are your thoughts?

for personal reasons I will not buy from him..don't want to get into it here,,for the price he has a nice kit..not sure what hoses he is using.but parker makes the best hoses for this..I can lay the hose right on the exhaust housing and it will only turn brown at most..it will not melt and it will not chafe... I like the regulated type kit..if the spring gets week in the bowl that regulates PSI..all I got to do is turn the **** a little to bump the PSI up..if I'm daily driving or going on a trip or even put in a pump..I can lower the psi then raise it up later by just turning the **** while the truck is running..no second guessing..I kept watching the classifieds and found my kit un opened for $250...you can find them used as well for a good price.
as for the CCK..it does nothing about adding fuel to the heads cause you are still useing the 1/4 inch stock lines..the RR kit uses a bigger hose and takes the screen out of the head to flow more fuel..for a stock truck the cck is ideal....

Thanks for the specs Ron"s, that looks like it should do nicely. I am in Kitchener, ON. These days it's iffy on sending the personal packages. Some get inspected randomly and charged accordingly. I still like playing by the rules if I can. (Getting harder all the time). Too many rules.

Ron'sPowerStroke, is that a full RR Kit that the diagram shows? It look more involved than the Dino Fuel setup. I am fortunate that a friend of mine has a pipeline construction business that works with a lot of stainless. I was thinking I could have him make me some "standoff" brackets for questionable areas.

yes it is a full RR..for a CCK you want the hoses and fitting specs for the back driver side of the head and the same for the front of the passanger side of the head...then you will need a regulator or a T with an orfis (SP) in it for the retun line that is also listed in that link..

Talking

Well, I can see that this mod will send me down a long treacherous road. With all the disconnecting and remove this and move that, I may as well do the foil delete, upper rad hose and change the serp belt as it is the original. Paint the IC pipes and get new boots. That should be enough to keep me busy for a couple days. I feel giddy.
