new to bronco

just traded my 68 trk for 87 bronco just noticed that from pictures that ive seen transfer range slectors on the side of transmission hump mine is almost in center of the hump is 87 different from all the other year thaxs

i dont know the older ones but id say its an e4od but as i said i dont know the older ones but the selector should be twards the front driver side on it

The auto overdrive should be an AOD. Do you have a 302 truck? for the transfer case most of the models were to the left of the hump closer to the drivers right foot for the transfer case shifter. If it is in the center of the hump then I am not familiar unless someone stuck an older 70's shifter in the truck, I am not familiar with where the shifter for the 13-45 transfer case would end up either. You do have a new model year bronco so alot of the 86 model pieces would be still in use as ford built out supplies.
