Doh!

I brought my brand new Haynes shop manual into the throne room, sat down and read "F Series and Expedition" Doh!

At least go back and get a chiltons, it's not much better, but it's a step above haynes.

Forget both Haynes & Chilton's. The factory manuals are now priced reasonable, and are available directly from the publisher at helminc.com (Helm, Inc.).

Helm's shop manual is $140, does not include $75 wiring diagrams. Since I have an aftermarket warranty I'm only looking to do routine maintenance. So the Haynes s/b OK.
PepBoys manager ordered one for me to exchange. Given that most places have a no return policy on manuals that's purty good.
