Temp/Fuel gauge problem
I have a 2000 Explorer and noticed once warmed up the temp gauge moves from its normal operating position down to just above the normal mark on the gauge. About 10 minutes or so later it will move back to its normal operating temp again, and do the same thing over again. I was thinking it might be a faulty thermostat, but today noticed that the fuel gauge does the same thing.(If it shows a full tank of fuel, after 10 minutes or so of driving will drop to 3/4 full, and then 10 minutes later will go to full again). Both gauges seem to do it at the same time. Any one have any ideas?
