Won't start?
Most of the time when I try to start my 92 bronco 351 A/T, I hear the solenoid click, but it won't turn over. If I keep trying it eventually starts, or if I jump the solenoid it starts just fine. I just put in a new battery and solenoid from Napa. Need to get this fixed so I can feel good with my wife and son driving around without getting stranded. I can feel it want to turn sometimes but it doesn't if that makes any since. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

So you hear the solenoid but you don't get anything from the starter from time to time? Is that what I am reading? Have a close look at the connections and condition of the wiring from the battery to the solenoid and from the solenoid down to the starter. If all is well there, you may have a starter with a bad winding.

I think I found the problem. The truck had an alarm system that I thought I disabled. After chasing wires and testing everything in the ignition system I realized the alarm was still some what functioning. When I replaced the battery it must have set the thing of and was interrupting the starter circuit. I remove the whole system and it starts now. What a relief.
