Well guys on todays horribly rainy day i was out driving up Rt 22 and my check engine light come on...soo i checked it with my scanner and i'mm getting 3 codes...
P0344=Camshaft Pos Sensor Circuit Intermittent (bank1/1sens)...
P0603=Internal Ctrl Mod KAM Error...
P0113=Intake Air Temp Circuit High Input...
P0603 - Not a problem. Most likely from having batteries disconnected. Just clear it.
P0113 - Maybe bad IAT (Intake Air Temp) sensor or not connected properly or shorted wiring. IAT is the sensor plugged into air filter box.
This is what DTC list says - "IAT Intake air temp. sensor circuit high input. Posible trouble- Open circuit, biased sensor, PCM, short to 5v"

Some have problems (very few) but the majority don't.
Wet weather could cause it but you may leave yourself stranded if the CPS is bad. Have it changed and try to get them to give you back the original as a spare. You should have a spare even if you have to buy it. Should be under 30 bucks.
like buy one at like advancded or napa??? soo the gray one isnt that bad?? i just heard alot of bad things about it thats all...i tried to talk them into just giving it to me as a spare but that didnt work ...i was just wondering if the heavy rain caused it??

Don't by a CPS other then at a Ford dealer or from International. The ones from auto stores have a high failure rate. Ford sells them for under $30.00.
If any moisture got in the connector, then yes it could be related to the rain. To be on the safe side, at least get you a spare to carry with you. You could also ask the dealer if you let them do the recall, would they let you keep your old CPS as a spare. That way you've got a spare, and if your truck has any issues with the gray one, you still have the other one.
true i just might do that, i drove over to my gf's house (7miles) and back this morning and not any problems soo i'm thinking since it was raining real hard and i was going 65mph some road moisture got in there but i think i might have the ford dealer do the recall next week and just ask them if i can keep the old one as a spare...soo i wont notice a difference in my truck with the gray CPS???

And don't for get that these have shut the truck down when the wipers are on from time to time.
