Question Screwed up Drivers DOOR

I was backing down the drive with my head up my a## and the door open.
I hung a tree and the door went back, but not all the way.
Of course it bent a couple of things.
I took the door off and straightened the hinges the best I could.
Put it back on and tried to adjust it with no luck.
Is there a process one goes through to do this?
Is there a special wrench to get to the hinge bolts while the door is mounted for adjusting.
It closes but still barely hangs the fender and it also is not in alignment,
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I`ve done worse but that`s a whole other story. If it was me and the hinges were bent, the first thing I would do is go to a junk yard and get good hinges and start from there. But just my opinion.

An old body man showed me a trick for a quicky fix in this situation.
He put a 2x4 block about 6 inches long between the door and the frame close to the hinges. Then he leaned into the door like he was trying to close it. Took about 3 or 4 times moving the block around, but he got the door closing like new. I guess he had probably done this for 40 years. I tried it myself a few years latter when I backed down a drive way and the door came open and caught a tree. Got reasonable results. Take your time and make small adjustments.
Good luck Frank

You likely twisted the door hinge pillar.
A block of wood in the hinges may help straighten it out.

Without seeing it, it is hard to say exactly.
Perhaps you know someone at an autobody shop that can offer advice?

(edit) I see fmr9 beat me to it...

Leaky doors are annoying at best. Hinges wear and sag over time so even junk yard hinges may be a crap shoot. I would go to a body shop and have them order new hinges and install them...they know what they are doing and have the tools. Yes, more expensive, but leaky door seals drive me absolutely bonkers. Just my opinion.
