WatchDog? Economy Monitor - 40400, 40402 - Gauge monitor with a Driving Coach to maximize fuel economy
No it doesn't. From what I've read it only monitors up to 20 parameters(displays only 4 at a time). I can display 20 parameters at one time and it's got a crap load of extras, some of which you won't really feel the need to get at.
I will say this as well, because it doesn't have the ability to get fuel pressure(only on gasoline vehicles, not diesels) you won't be able to get a totally accurate mpg reading. Fuel pressure has to be involved.
Plus, other the pyro, it doesn't allow for other analog gauge inputs while the dashdaq does. It's not bad, but it doesn't hold a candle to the dashdaq. Plus I'm willing to bet it doesn't get at the other modules that the DashDAQ can read and get DTCs from due to the need of an enhancement license.
I'll try to light a fire under him and try to get ahold of him today. He told me monday that he had gotten an email with the firmware fix, but he hasn't been able to mess with it because he was tuning a new engine(totally new, not new as in just this model year). I'll see what I can do.
However, as far as monitoring goes, you can still get the DashDAQ to do all the monitoring if that's what your wanting. I know having the whole package is better, but I'll try to see if there is anything firm on the table. Might take awhile.
