ABS light
Any help where to look would be appreciated.
Thanks

If it's the ABS warning light thats on, it indicates that the computer has disabled the ABS function & reverted it to normal braking.
It could be a number of things, so we'll need some more clues to make a better guess as to whats wrong.
Are you having any other problems, like an unsteady speed-o, or the cruise control acting out, or the auto tranny shifting acring up, if so, suspect the rear differential mounted ABS speed sensor, it's wiring for chaffed insulation back where it comes out of the plastic sheathing, or electrical connector.
As all of the above listed things also use it's output PID to the computer, if it's output is corrupt, they'll act out too & it's a commom problem part.
If you have 4WABS, check the front wheel speed sensors for debris, or damage to the sensors, electrical connector or wiring, especially for metallic debris on the sensors, or for chaffed wiring insulation.
If that doesn't pan out, check the "Tech Info" thread atop this forums thread listing page, for a "how too" on pulling ABS codes yourself, or maybe run it by a brake shop, or Dealer, as they'll have a high end scan tool that'll pull the ABS codes, but they'll likely charge for it.
Raise the hood & look low down on the drivers side inner fender below the brake master cylinder to find the ABS motor & count the brake lines coming out of it, 4 lines = 4WABS.
Checking your brake fluids level & condition as suggested, is always a good idea, especially if the brake warning light is on too, or if your also having a low or soft pedal.
Did this problem come about after some event????
A bunch more things for pondering, let us know what you find.
