need new engine
Long story short- my daily driver was t-boned and totaled. I have a 78 F-250 4x4. It has a 460 V-8 and C-6 tranny. Both are in need of replacement before I can drive the truck. I would rather have a rebuilt engine and tranny that I could just swap to get this thing running as fast as possible. (I hate walking to work.) I've called a few shops around where I live in New Mexico but no body had any buildable cores for the engine or tranny. They want me to bring in my parts and they will rebuild them. Where would be a good place to look for a stock motor and transmission? Any companys online? Thanks!!!
